Custom DNS Servers
-------------------------

Administrators can use the **Docker Run Config** :doc:`Image Setting</guide/custom_images>` or :doc:`Group Setting</guide/groups>`
to specify custom DNS servers that are used by the Kasm sessions.

The following instructions demonstrate how to configure custom DNS servers using the **Docker Run Config** :doc:`Image Setting</guide/custom_images>`

1. Log into the Kasm UI as an administrator.

2. Select **Images**

3. Select **Edit** (Pencil) next to the desired Image.

4. Specify the DNS Server in **Docker Run Config**

5. Select Submit


New sessions created with this image will utilize the specified DNS servers for resolution.
